Bird Description
Scarce in s.TX woodland. Size and colors most similar to SCOR. Very long graduated tail and long straight bill. Sexes alike. Ad: unstreaked light green back, bright yellow underparts, and black hood. Broad white tertial fringes. 1st-w: unstreaked green upperparts and dull yellow underparts with blotchy dark spots as hood is molted in. Song: a series of flat whistles.
