Very rare in s. FL. Small and chunky with a short tail, but always look for the downcurved bill. ♂s are gaudy with striking supercilium, yellow rump, and yellow breast bordered by white. White patch at base of primaries. ♀: very subdued version of ♂. Nectar feeder.
