Bird Description
W. species found in mixed woodland. Rare in E late fall/winter. Often at feeders. W. counterpart of RBGR, occasionally hybridizing. Call and song similar but latter slower and deeper. ID: Generally a clean looking orange-buff bird. Most color patterns, size, and shape as similar RBGR (particularly 1st-yr ♂). BHGR has more extensive buff underparts, fine streaks restricted to breast sides, grayer bill usually with darker upper mandible.
