Very rare in S.Large and long-billed with striking white corners to broad, dark tail. Ad ♂: blue throat and dark gray ear coverts bordered by white; underparts otherwise dull gray. ♀/imm: pattern similar to adult ♂ with bolder double white face stripes, but lacks blue throat.
