Bird Description
Very rare winter visitor. A Selasphorus with even-width primaries and long (less tapered) tail. Subtly longer, more tapered, and paler than RUHU with smaller head. Ad ♂: white line behind eye separates rose gorget from crown. ♀/imms: color patterns similar to CAHU. Subtly distinctive face pattern: gray-faced with speckled throat.
