Bird Description
Found in a variety of woodland, but likes thorny habitat. Usually found in packs that stick tightly together, zipping quickly through vegetation. Often hangs upside down in very chickadee-like fashion. ID: Small and chunky gray bird with a long tail and brown ear coverts. Stubby bill. ♂ and juvs have dark iris, ♀ pale.
