Bird Description
Fairly common in dense vegetation in s. TX. Similar to BRTH in behavior and appearance. Differences include duller upperparts, more boldly streaked underparts extending to undertail coverts. Iris is brighter orange and all-black bill narrower-based and strongly downcurved. Ranges can overlap in winter.
