Bird Description

Regular in small numbers on Dry Tortugas. Rare far offshore in warm waters. ID: Gannet look-alike but notably smaller. Adults/3rd-years: yellow bill with extensive black at base. Bright white plumage with distinct black trailing edge across wing and tail. Juv has dark, hooded look with pale underparts and collar.
