Bird Description
Rare in S, vagrant to NE. A slim, long-tailed, crested bird of arid areas and tall bushes. Often sits on treetops, and flies around a lot as if to show off its large white wing patches. Overall, a dull-colored bird. Ad ♂: glossy black with a red eye. Ad ♀: gray with a red eye; wing feathers have white fringes.
