Bird Description
Lives in conifer-clad mountains moving lower in winter. Regularly strays e. in winter, often to cedars. Sometimes elusive, at other times sits upright on treetops. Eats berries and insects. Slim, plain gray bird with a long tail. Small rounded head with a bold white eyering. Buff bands in flight feathers and wing bar on otherwise bland bird.
