Bird Description
Fairly common in mesquite and scrubby vegetation in dry areas. Always on the move, very fidgety. Tail often flicked up. Chunky-bodied, muscular-necked and round-headed; looks cute with its dark lores and pointed bill on spiffy yellow head. Rufous patch on bend of wing not always visible. Juv paler headed.
