Bird Description

Very rare to s. FL. Formerly Stripe-headed Tanager. A small tanager, though not immediately obvious, with long tail, small head, and a stubby bill. Ad ♂: striking; back color variable. ♀: dull with pale malar. Upperparts dark olive with pale edges to wing feathers and white patch at base of primaries.
