About Richard Crossley
Richard Crossley is an internationally acclaimed birder, photographer, and award-winning author of ‘The Crossley ID Guide’ series. He is also co-author of The Shorebird Guide. Born in Yorkshire, England, he has lived a life shaped by birds making Cape May, NJ his home for thirty years. His latest book, The Crossley ID Guide: Western Birds, continues to push boundaries and teach people to look at birds differently. Richard also co-founded the global birding initiative Pledge to Fledge, Race4Birds, and The Cape May Young Birders Club. He has contributed to most major birding publications, is frequently heard on radio, and is a sought-after public speaker.
